Bar JJ was one of the first gay bars in Ibiza, and was certainly one of the first bar in Ibiza that I ever sat down at. (I fell down at the rest with a small stagger in-between.)

JJ's has a very small narrow terrace, within touching distance of Mo Bar opposite (Ex Galleria) - not that Mo Bar is ever open.

Bar JJ is always busy, with most people stopping off for a quick one at some point during the night.

A couple of years ago, the bar was taken over by the long standing staff, David (Sort of a management buy out/lock in.) That's the ever-so-handsome, unnecessarily charming and ageing ever-so-well David, to the left.

It is worth venturing inside the bar for the view alone (from the balcony overlooking the harbour, not just the barman (Juan below)).

JJ's bar always seems busy inside with 'regulars', and the small terrace has a constant stream of bums on seats. David will remember you even if you haven't been for a number of years, and JJ's owes a lot to his personality (and lovely smooth back), to keep the punters coming back year after year.

The bar appears to attract just about everyone - and proudly sports 2 tourist board glasses on a little plaque outside, and not to mention the gorgeous terrace totty (Frank) of 2006! who got a number of votes for the person most needlessly wearing too many clothes for most of the season.
