It is not usually this early in the year, (March) or in the life of any bar (3 days after opening) that we get to make absolute arses of our-selves or feel that we need to make a public apology. Which we would like to offer unreservedly to the new hosts of the MAD bar, David and Manu. (The boys very professionally and patiently sat through our staggering in totally drunk, ordering drinks which we immediately smashed on the floor and our attempt at making conversation (gibberish) before we staggered out - Slightly more incoherantly.) Who said it was quiet out of season?

Back to Business....

Back in 2003, the GC bar was refitted and re opened, as COFUSION, 2008 see's new owners David and Manu, taking over the bar, and making a huge difference to this large and totally unexpected venue.

Do not be fooled by the terrace outside, the bar is relatively huge inside which is very unexpected given the size of the other shops and bars on the street. The redecoration is fab, and you very quickly feel at home in here, with David and Manu being very welcoming. The bar is open now (from the 1st 02 April 2008) and deserves to be busy.

As soon as the hangover fades and we will be venturing back for a less inebriated visit, to take some photos and gather some more information.

I have been asked to point out the 'we' should be 'I' because my drinking partner has no shame at all.
