One of the more high profile bar changes in 2005, and it was noticed. For years a mainstay of Ibiza's gay nightlife, Incognito changed hands at the beginning of 2005 and relaunched as SOAP.

The boys from the SOAP CAFE (which was just down the bottom of the steps from Dome) opened up the new SOAP on the 5th of May, and after a great opening party/hangover/recovery SOAP has attracted large crowds almost every night.

Not content with their success last year, the boys took over Lolas - underneath Angelo's, and have managed to turn the place around to make it an additional popular stopping off place next door to the Dome.

The Incognito Soap is now known as 'UP SOAP' (or 'SOAP UP' by the rest of us) and Soap Lolas is now called the SOAP CLUB (SOAP DOWN)- and there is not that far to walk between them, if you want to spend a night in SOAP.

Both SOAPs are chaotic every night, with a real fun atmosphere in UP SOAP, and a more chilled night in SOAP CLUB's terrace. Guest list for BABYLON is usually available at SOAP UP. But if you want to throw yourself around without moving more than an arms length, don't forget the dance floor in the SOAP CLUB - WHICH IS ALSO OPEN EVERY WEEKEND OUT OF SEASON

Between the lights and banners for SOAP and ANGELO'S, this little corner of Ibiza Town is now one of the brightest and busiest every night.
