FEDERATION AT HEAVEN IBIZA

After a couple of weeks delay (through no fault of their own) FEDERATION, the North's 'biggest' gay house dance event finally opened in HEAVEN IBIZA - the new venue in IBIZA town taking over from Penelope's .
The PARTY has a few simple policies,
1] NO GUEST LIST - everyone is equal, prices are low for everyone - as a result, you will not be subsidising the free guest list.
2] Music to dance to that you have actually heard before. i.e. House classics.
If you want to get into the VIP area you will have be fabulous & fierce ('fizzy' will do), smile at everyone and hope for the best.
Against all of the odds, i.e. following the night after an amazing La Troya 14th Birthday party at SPACE - and after a week of rumours that HEAVEN was actually opening a week later, (see below) the FEDERATION TEAM managed to pull off one hell of an opening party.
With an amazing club parade around Ibiza town, that literally stormed the harbour area managing to lift the sprits of a dazed and jaded Thursday night crowd, (and they know how to be jaded). The club filled quickly with just about everyone who had enough energy to get out and enjoy themselves. Having some of the islands best dancers and performers in one place on one night made the party feel familiar, the music policy made it totally different for Ibiza, the dance show gave it some focus, all in all it was a great night out.
For FEDERATION this was a great opening party, for HEAVEN the venue, they could not have asked for a better opening night.
(HEAVEN the venue is not a full time gay club. HEAVENS own GAY party (it is also called HEAVEN) is on a Tuesday and opens a week after FEDERATION - Unfortunately the HEAVEN PARTY posters went up before the FEDERATION opening party posters....)
