The Ebeso was a favourite place to stay when we were students in Edinburgh some fifteen years ago. We would take a cheap package holiday to the Ebeso, on half board as the hotel offers one of the few buffet dinners that I have ever seen provide edible food. The restaurant was family run.
The hotel was refurbished around 2000, new fixtures fittings (doors/balconies, bathrooms) which can only add to its great location (on the beach), it's swimming pool (set out to sea), the small beach and the excellent views from the rooms.
It is not easy taking anyone back to your room here (it has been done) and the street side rooms can be noisy - pay the supplement for a sea view (€5-€10) - it is well worth it.
The Ebeso's full name is 'Hotel Nautico Ebeso' but all the cab drivers know it as the 'Ebeso'.
If you fancy staying at a hotel rather than in an apartment, and don't want to splash out on the Los Molinos, the Ebeso is a reasonable alternative.
