The Freus apartments are set one road above the sea-front in Figueretes on the Calle Ramon Muntaner (Monroes is directly underneath the south-west corner).

As with other accommodation in Figueretes, there is no reception, so you can take back who you like, without idiot looks from the night porter, or even more-idiot excuses from yourself.

Most of the apartments are on two floors, and, being built on a hill, are not easily accessible if you have trouble with steps (or have temporarily forgotten the leg movements required).

It is difficult to know if the Freus' are exclusively gay, or not gay at all, some years they are, some they are not. The apartments can be a very quiet, well-located place to stay, and you are already halfway up the hill (should you want to go use the Hotel Cenit pool), as just where you would expect to find the Freus pool, there is a sunbathing terrace.

The apartments have a more interesting layout than your average Ibiza tourist box - and can be quite charming.
