Many of the rooms were renovated in May 2004. The Maritimo is 'mixed' but has a very relaxed atmosphere.

It provides clean tidy modern rooms, with standard single beds, slightly larger than usual bathrooms and a daily maid service. Most rooms have a great view of Figueretes Bay and are highly desirable now the refurbishment is complete.

Occasionally suffering from the 'door-slammers' (why do people do it?), the hotel is simple and quiet, with a bar and Italian restaurant at ground level which faces one of the small beaches in Figueretes (and is right next door to the Island Bar).

Reception service is provided twenty-four hours, and rooms can be booked on the web, or through numerous gay package companies.
