Navila Hotel is owned and managed by Pepita, who can be contacted through the El Portalón restaurant (just down from Anfora, or on the way up to La Muralla).

There will be someone in the restaurant from noonish to after midnight every day. This is just one of the properties that Pepita manages.

The hotel is placed on a very quiet street (walkway) in the middle of Dalt Vila, in effect directly along the road from Anfora, and about twenty yards from Plaça de Vila. 10 metres from Plaza Del Sol, which is great for breakfast.

Navila provides the central location in the most relaxing of atmospheres, complete with panoramic views across Dalt Vila and the harbour.

With a pool on one roof terrace, and two further sunbathing terraces (nude sunbathing is allowed), it is quite simply stunning, and a million miles away from your average package hotel or apartment.

The entrance to the hotel is through an inner courtyard, with a flight of steps to most of the rooms. Every room is different, and all have a unique charm. No, really, it is great. A lounge greets you on the first floor, with a terrace and pool through the TV room.

Each room has a simple cooker, fridge, coffee machine, and air-conditioning. Dependent on which room you take, you could have up to three rooms, some have views, some look straight out onto the pool, one or two on to the narrow street (path).


Book in advance, by fax (and make sure you receive a confirmation), turn up at El Portalón, then relax.

This place is worth any hassle making the booking...
